Wow. Not bad. Very Neptunes early 2000's. Wasn't expecting Eve to sound anything like that. Her singing is actually quite good compared to some rappers-who-try-to-sing as of late. She actually has a real soothing tone. Definitely not what we're use to.

Well put together visual. Kind of reminds me of Beyonce and Lady Gaga's 'Telephone' visual. It pays homage to 'Kill Bill' with nods to 'Thelma and Louise'.

Glad they played to their strengths. I would've said there's far too many slow-motion scenes, but without it you could tell it wasn't gonna look as good. And happy they didn't lip sync any of the track, instead putting their all into making it more like, a mini film.

Pure perfection. There is NOTHING I can think of that would make this music video better. The mood the song alone sets kind of gives an indication to where the visuals may go, but you could never imagine something like this.

Classic, clean, and very well thought-out. It's like, what Britney Spears' 'Work Bitch' video should have looked like. The choreography is amazing and a perfect fit for the flash shots throughout the visual. Chris and Usher must have been restricted for time because I'm sure they would have managed to fit in some killer choreo' together. That bit at the end was cute though.

Since the release of Sam Smith's single 'Stay With Me', It has been hard to turn on the radio, or the television and not see or hear the song. The infectious ballad pretty much took up where Pharell's 'Happy' left off, craze wise.

Today I share with you a cover of the track. Sung by Stevie Wonder's vocal child, Luke James. In my opinion, he annihilates the original.

But make up your own mind. Take a listen:



I always liked Sam Smith's version. Without the unneeded Mary J Blige vocal. But there was always that certain something missing from his vocal performance of the song that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I now identify that missing ingredient as soulful texture. Range.

The unthinkable has finally happened. Nicki Minaj and Beyonce on ONE track. An official track. The remix to Beyonce's 'Flawless'.

Uhh... it's OK. It started off amazing. Beyonce gave me life and completely bodied her verse. Although the auto-tune layering of the elevator line was corny and didn't need to be repeated.

Nicki Minaj started off nicely, but as soon as those dramatic pauses started everything went down. When dramatic pauses are inserted, you're usually anticipating something relatively clever and hard to follow. But nothing came. The second half of her verse didn't do anything for me. She was boring.

All in all, the remix was underwhelming. I expected more from this collaboration. A lot more.

I wish they took it all the way. Some of the cute bits of Keyshia giggling and smiling should have been taken out. She didn't need to be singing in every single scene. Some intense stares into the camera with some slow motion, high back arche-scenes would've been nice.

Beyonce's Rocket visual should have been studied for this.

Lollapalooza kicked off over the weekend, held at the historic Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois. Superstars Eminem and Rihanna took to the stage to preview their upcoming 'Monster' tour with special performances of 'Love The Way You Lie', 'The Monster', and Rihanna taking Dido's place in Eminem's hit song, 'Stan'.

Loving the pairing. It's like a more edgier take on the Beyonce and Jay-Z pairing. I really don't mind Rihanna on 'Stan', I think it's a perfect fit for her. I believe this is nothing compared to what they will be bringing, production wise, to the stage for the tour. I'm excited, even though it's not coming here LOL!
