Lorde Covers 'Rolling Stone,' Talks Nerves & Quotes Kanye West!
Posted on 12:08 PM by Unknown
New Zealand's own singer/songwriter Lorde covers the latest Rolling Stone magazine! The 17-year-old is decked out in a Cramps T-shirt and Gothic themed make-up as she graces the iconic issue.
Contributing editor Rob Tannenbaum travelled to New Zealand to interview Lorde, aka Ella Yelich-O'Connor.
In the issue, the magazine describes Lorde as the "most unlikely new superstar". She reveals she gets "paralysingly nervous" often, "found bravery in my bravado" of course quoting Kanye West's "Dark Fantasy". And said her "whole career can be boiled down to the one word I always say in meetings: strength".
This comes ahead of her performance at the Grammy Awards at the end of the month. The singer has four Grammy nominations.
The new issue hits news-stands January 17.
