Justin Timberlake and Kendrick Lamar grace separate covers of GQ's Men of the Year issue. Check out the pics below!
On news-stands November 19 will be GQ's Men of the Year issue, where both Justin Timberlake and rapper Kendrick Lamar will grace separate covers. Justin Timberlake opts for a casual cool look on his cover, and Kendrick, well, is dressed awkwardly in a suit-n-tie with a mic' in his hand.
Kendrick is crowned Rapper of the Year by GQ's editors. A coveted title Jay Z and Drake have worn previously.
Inside the issue Kendrick talks about his famous Control verse, and also his relationship with fellow rapper, Drake. When asked if he was cool with the YMCMB rapper he says, “Pretty cool. I mean, I would be okay if we weren’t.”
Kendrick also explained why he decided to attend Diddy’s VMA after-party. “I only go when there’s a point,” he said. “Usually the point is just ni**as drinking. But walking through the club the week after I released the ‘Control’ verse? That’s a point!”
Be sure to get your copy of Kendrick and Justin's December issues, and also 3 others which feature Will Ferrell, Matthew McConaughey and the late James Gandolfini on separate covers.
